World Food Day: Group donates Food items to less Privileged
As Nigeria joins the rest of the world in celebrating World Food Day in 2022, a non-governmental Organisation, Heroic Discovery and Community Development Center, HEDCODEC, has donated food packs to some less privileged.
The food distribution to the vulnerable is to commemorate the founding of the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization, celebrated every year worldwide on October 16th.

Speaking while presenting the food packs, in Abuja, the founder/programe manager explained that gesture was inline with this year theme tagged, “Leave no one behind”, aimed at cushioning the hardship faced by the beneficiaries.

We realized that government alone can not do it all, but we need to find a creative way to strategically give them a means of livelihood.
The distribution of food is part of our ways of supporting less privileged in community to attract them into our network where we can start a gradual mindset rehabilitation with several skill acquisition programs.
