He said: “In view of this challenge, I initiated a bill, which is on the table of President Muhammadu Buhari for assent, to build a Federal Medical Centre in Kano, to further reduce the burden on AKTH in the provision of medical services.”

On his contributions to the advancement of education in his constituency, he said:

“During my electioneering for the House of Representatives seat to represent the people of the area, they complained to me that they lacked classrooms. To satisfy their yearnings, I built six classroom blocks. In terms of health, I built not less than two new hospitals and renovated clinics, to cater for the rural community and environs.”
