RCCG Convention Welcomes 73 Newborns
The 72nd Annual Convention of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) has witnessed the birth of 73 newborns, according to Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the church’s General Overseer. The convention, which began on August 5, 2024, and will conclude on Sunday, has attracted thousands of worshippers to Redemption City, Mowe, Ogun State.

As of Friday evening, 39 boys and 34 girls had been born, including two sets of twins. Adeboye announced the number of births before his sermon at the Holy Ghost Night, a regular feature of the convention.
In his message, “Let There Be Light,” Adeboye urged worshippers to pray against darkness in their lives and families. He also led prayers for royal fathers in attendance and announced the theme for the next annual convention: “Overcomers.”
The convention has seen a massive turnout, with over 18,068 worshippers joining the Friday Holy Ghost service via the church’s YouTube page, Dove TV. Guest houses and hostels in the area have been fully booked, with many worshippers attending the program.
