PHC: Faisal Is Praised By Monarch For Transformation

 

Alhaji Mahmoud Bwalla, a paramount ruler in Nasarawa State, described the recent awarding of the National Productivity Order of Merit to Dr. Faisal Shuaib, the Executive Director of the National Primary Health Care (PHC) Development Agency, as well deserved.

During a press briefing at his palace in Shabu, Lafia Local Government Area, the Sangarin Shabu stated that the Primary Health Care service under Dr. Shuaib had recorded an unprecedented transformation especially within the area of upgrading the health care facilities and the continuous attention given to maternal and child health.

He also noted that the Executive Director had distinguished himself in stamping out Ebola, Polio and routine immunisation as well as the fight against COVID – 19 over the years.

Alhaji Mahmoud Bwalla called upon Dr. Faisal Shuaib to see the award as the means to a good ending by redoubling his efforts towards reaching the unreached with heath care services in order to reduce to the barest minimum, the current rate of maternal and child mortality in the country.

While he commended President Muhammadu Buhari for the award, the traditional ruler also called upon other recipients to continue to live up to expectations of their various endeavours to the service of humanity.
