OSPHCDA Commemorates World Breastfeeding Week

The Ondo State Primary Health Care Development Agency (OSPHCDA) has joined the rest of the work on commemorating the World Breastfeeding Week (WBW) 2024.

On its Facebook page, it called for the support of breastfeeding mothers while mentioning the benefits of exclusive feeding.

The agency wrote, “Every drop counts! Exclusive breastfeeding builds immunity, promotes child growth, and fosters emotional connection.

“Let’s support our breastfeeding #moms always!”

Recall that WBF is held in the first week of August every supported by the World Health Organisation (WHO), United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) and many Ministries of Health and civil society partners.
