According to Olufunmilola Adewumi, chief nutritionist at Shomolu General Hospital, palm oil offers numerous health benefits, including:

– Providing cardio-protective and anti-inflammatory effects
– Relieving pain and soothing skin conditions

Adewumi emphasizes moderation in oil consumption for a healthy lifestyle. Other nutritionists, Adaeze Oparaku and Momo Akwara, agree that palm oil is a better choice, especially when unbleached, and suggest incorporating both palm and vegetable oils in moderation.
