Afriglobal Medicare Receives ISO Certification
On Wednesday, the Nigeria Diagnostic sector had received a boost with the issuance of a ISO 15189:2012 certification to Afriglobal Medicare, which is a standard that is designed to improve the quality and reliability of medical laboratories.
The certification represented an essential milestone in a long-term strategic journey in the provision of much-needed, quality, and affordable diagnostics services to a broad demographic in Nigeria.
Afriglobal Medicare, which is a diagnostics services company, is proud to announce their achievement of the ISO 15189:2012. This accreditation showcases Afriglobal Medicare’s continuous commitment to quality and constant improvement.
Afriglobal Medicare’s audit was conducted by the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria Accreditation Service. The certificate presentation ceremony was on the 7th of June, 2022. The company offers cardiology, pathology, radiology, and wellness services with the usage of state-of-the-art technology.

During at the event, Dr. Tosan Erhabor, the Registrar of the MLSCN, noted that Afriglobal was now joining the big leagues of medical laboratories in Nigeria with its ISO certification. Tani Fafunwa, the CEO of Afriglobal, stated that Afriglobal’s goals when embarking on this journey were simple.
The first goal was to build labs around globally recognized systems by using operations that are structured on the best practices. The second goal, ultimately, was to ensure that the labs operate with the highest quality standards for their customers and the society at large.
