LASHMA Enrolls Vulnerable Residents into Health Scheme

The Lagos State Health Management Agency (LASHMA) on Monday commenced the enrolment of vulnerable residents who cannot afford the health scheme consisting of ILERA EKO premium and ILERA EKO health insurance premium.

This is to enable equal access to quality health care to ensure that no one is left behind in the scheme of things in the state.

The General Manager, LASHMA, Dr. Emmanuella Zamba, in a statement made available to newsmen on Monday, revealed that the registration and enrolment would take place in the local government and local council development areas of the state.

The enrolment was flagged off at Ijede LCDA and will move to Kosofe LGA on Tuesday and on Wednesday, the train will move to Odi-Olowo LGA.

On Thursday, the exercise will move to Iru-Victoria Island. February 14 will be the turn of Epe LGA while on February 15, the exercise will continue at Egbe-Idimu LCDA.

“Other local governments and local council development areas where the vulnerable and those who cannot pay their health insurance premiums will register in the month of February 2023 are Apapa LGA (February 16, 2023), Ojodu LCDA (February 21, 2023), Coker-Aguda LCDA (February 22, 2023) and Oriade LCDA (February 23, 2023),” Zamba stated.
