Kano PHCMB warns 5 personnel over Covid-19 scale-up Vaccination
HEALTHDIGEST– Kano state Primary Health Care Management Board (PHCMB) has warned 5 personnel over Covid-19 scale up vaccination and poor performance on the exercise.
2 other personnel from Kumbotso and Kano Municipal Local Government Areas were issued commendation letters for their outstanding performance on the Covid-19 mass scale up vaccination exercise.
In his remarks on behalf of the Executive Secretary of the Board Dr. Tijjani Hussaini, the Director Administration and Finance of the Board, Alhaji Suleiman Tanimu made the disclosure on Tuesday.
While presenting commendation letters to the outstanding personnel, he urged them to maintain the tempo for the success of the vaccination exercise.

He, however, also issued warning letters to 5 other personnel due to poor performance regarding the proper record of the COVID-19 vaccination’s daily logistics data which hinders the progress of the entire program.
The 5 warning letters were drawn from Kunchi , Gaya, Albasu, Danbatta and Tarauni Local Governments.
In a letter signed by the Public Relations officer of the Board, Maikudi Muhammad Marafa, PHCMB warned the staff and advised them to ensure compliance by submitting the Data needed in due course so as to avoid been penalize in accordance with the rules governing the exercise.
