Kano Nurses Threaten Industrial Action over Poor Welfare
Nurses under the aegis of the National Association of Nigeria Nurses and Midwives (NANNM) have issued a 15-day ultimatum to the Kano State Government to meet their demands or risk industrial action.
The association stated that the decision arose from a State Administrative Council meeting following the government’s failure to address issues affecting its members in a series of correspondences.
The notice was signed by the association’s acting State Secretary and Public Relations Officer, Ahmad Sharada, and addressed to the Kano State Head of Civil Service.
