Kano Hospital Receives Dialysis Consumables From An NGO

Kidney Care and Transplant Foundation Trust, a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO), has donated consumables for dialysis of kidney patients at the Muhammad Abdullahi Wase Hospital in Kano, Kano State, to ease their plight.

The consumables were delivered by a delegation from the Foundation to the management of the hospital for onward distribution to the patients upon coming for the dialysis.

During the handing over of the consumables to the management of the hospital, the Chairman of the foundation, Arc Ibrahim Haruna, stated that the purpose of the gesture was to reduce the burden of kidney care in the country as dialysis drugs were expensive.
