Jalingo: Foundation Urges Women on Regular Cancer Screening
The Executive Director of Fhamas Cancer Foundation Jalingo, Jamilu Yayawa, has asked women to check their status on cancer as related issues prevail day by day.
The Executive Director made the remarks during awareness campaign programmme organised by the foundation at Catholic Diocese, Mile Six, Jalingo.
Yayawa specifically spoke on breast and cervical cancer, stressing the importance of awareness and measures for cancer prevention.

He encouraged women to be vigilant about changes in their bodies, control their weight, limit alcohol intake, and undergo regular mammograms, emphasizing the critical role of early detection.
In her remarks, the Founder of Fhamas Cancer Foundation Arc l Hadiza Yero has who is a cancer survivor, shared her personal journey of overcoming cancer.
Her speech inspired strength and resilience, with a clear message that cancer is curable, calling on women to remain steadfast.
Also speaking, Ambassador Rabbeca Anthony, Chairperson of Women Wing of Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, North East Zone, expressed gratitude to Fhamas Cancer Foundation.
She appreciated the foundation for their dedicated effort in enlightening women about cancer prevention.
