ICIR Concludes Three-Day Training For Health Reporting Fellowship
International Centre for Investigative Reporting (ICIR), over the weekend, concluded a three-day training for its Health Reporting Fellowship project.

Journalists selected from 12 focal states were taken through investigative journalism, data journalism, fact-checking, multimedia reporting, solution journalism, Freedom of Information Act, info graphics, undercover reporting, interviewing techniques, safety of journalists and others.
The training specifically focused on enhancing the investigative skills and capacity of selected journalists to report on deployment of the Basic Health Care Provision Funds (BHCPF) and Midwives Service Scheme (MSS) by the Federal Government across the six geopolitical zones in Nigeria.
The training took place at Ibeto Hotel Limited, Apo, Gudu District, Abuja.
In his remarks, Executive Director of ICIR, Dayo Aiyetan, said the training is important for journalists as it equips them with tools to unearth wrongdoing in government and hold public officers accountable.
