A drug-free society, free from rape, domestic violence, drug abuse, addiction, misuse, depression and other related health and mental issues, is the vision of the Federation.
Taking this into account, the outgoing State Amirah, Dr. Halima Egberongbe, adressed the members of the community and admonished them not to use drugs because of the inherent risks.
According to her, the drug has become a cankerworm that has eaten deep into youths, women and men, both old and young, married and single and the entire society.
In attendance of the outdoor advocacy were representatives of the market women, okada riders, artisans and some community members.
