AXA Mansard Initiative To Revolutionise Healthcare Services

AXA Mansard’s newly launched initiative, ‘More Wellness For Less’, is expected to revolutionise healthcare service delivery in the country.

Mr. Tope Adeniyi, the chief executive officer (CEO) of AXA Mansard Health, stated this at the press conference to launch the new ‘More Wellness For Less’ Television Commercial (TVC) campaign in Victoria Island (VI), Lagos, over the weekend, noted that the new initiative is driven to provide quality health insurance services that are affordable and hassle-free.

Stating that health is central to the well-being of each individual, he noted that, the new campaign will address the physical and mental well-being of Nigerians, so that, they are active to perform their civic duties and responsibilities as well as contribute to the development of the country.

Disclosing that this service is available across all its online channels, agency offices, and branches nationwide, he stated that, products under this initiative are very cheap when compared with the services offered, stressing that, AXA Mansard Health has partnered with quality private and public healthcare facilities as well as pharmacies nationwide to give the best services in healthcare insurance.

He equally disclosed that some of the plans under the initiative have telemedicine infused in them as well.

To him, “with as low as N1,000, Nigerians can access AXA Mansard Health services. We also have products at N2,000 per month on Easy Care. There is a Bronze Plan that you can buy at about N60,000 per annum. So, we have a range of simple products that enable you to have access to decent health insurance services; you can actually configure them based on your lifestyle. Think about it, the value of your airtime is practically about three times the cost of buying access to ‘More Wellness For Less.’ So, everyone can buy AXA.”

Similarly, the chief client officer, AXA Mansard Insurance, Rashidat Adebisi, said, the well-being of Nigerians is central to her insurer which was why it placed so much emphasis on creating solutions that will address the health status of the people.

Speaking on the campaign, she said: “our retail products address both the mental and physical health. We have telemedicine services incorporated into it. If a user prefers not to necessarily be at the hospital, you can access services through telemedicine, and the medication can be delivered to you.

And it is very important for us to highlight that it’s also very affordable. I think a lot of people assume that our products are expensive, but in terms of value for money, I think that we are definitely top on the list.”

Similarly, chief customer & marketing officer, AXA Mansard Insurance, Jumoke Odunlami, noted that, the premium and affordable services being provided by AXA Mansard Health for the last 10 years has made the Health Management Organisation (HMO) on top and above others in terms of healthcare service delivery.

“Though we have played big in the corporate service space and in fact, we are number one in that space, far ahead of others, but we also play in individual and retail service space. This initiative is a package for individual and family which is an attestation to the fact that we are also playing in the retail. With a small premium, you have access to lots of superior services that is affordable,” she pointed out.

Earlier at the event, the HMO had unveiled an audio-visual commercial for the ‘More Wellness For Less’ campaign, which is a 1-minute television commercial that explains the importance of having a health insurance policy with AXA Mansard.

Reacting to the commercial, a premium customer with AXA Mansard and country director for Moove, Taiwo Ajibola, said: “From the television commercial that we all saw, there were two ladies in the same situation but with different approaches. The first lady had money, but it isn’t helpful and needed to do money transfer but still wasn’t successful. We have all seen how the recent cash crunch really impacted on so many of us. That was the major issue there. But the other lady who had AXA Mansard card was able to access healthcare services with ease.

“Access to healthcare anywhere, is critical issue. With this kind of product by AXA, you have so many accesses to hospitals. We encourage Nigerians to leverage on that and we at Moove are here to make life even better for you.”
