Avon HMO Arranges Breastfeeding Support Forum

 

Continuing its commitment to maternal and child healthcare, Avon Healthcare Limited (Avon HMO), a leading health maintenance organisation, will be holding its first breastfeeding forum in partnership with the Milky Express tomorrow, August 27th, 2022, to commemorate World Breastfeeding Week, which is promoted globally by the World Alliance for Breastfeeding Action (WABA).

Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the HMO, Adesimbo Ukiri, said it was in recognition of challenges that Avon HMO took the mantle of actively supporting mothers.

She stated that pregnancy is a challenging period for women and even after delivery, there are other hurdles to scale, adding:

“We decided to organise this forum to further empower mothers and equip them with more expert information and resources on this unique journey.”
