Adamawa Hospitals Receive Medical Items From NGO
Drugs as well as other medical items have been distributed to over 11 health facilities in Adamawa State by a non-governmental organisation (NGO).

Yesterday, during the start of the second phase in Yola, Mr. James Siggi, the programme manager of the NGO, Grassroots Life-Saving Outreach (LESGO), said that the purpose of the scheme was to ensure that vulnerable people are not being excluded from health services.
According to him, health facilities located in the Madagali and Michika local councils had been selected to benefit from the free drugs and other medical items for a free administration on select groups in the areas.
The programme was funded by the United Nations (UN), through the Nigeria Humanitarian Fund (NHF).
